Spatializer API

Spatial9's Spatializer API converts stereo and stems into Dolby Atmos and IAMF (Eclipsa Audio) through a resumable REST API.

Getting started

  • Base URL: https://api.spatializer.spatial9.ai/api/v0.0.1 (version 0.0.1).
  • Authentication: send your API key in the Authorization header of every request.
  • Output formats: atmos (Dolby Atmos master, default) and iamf (Eclipsa Audio), chosen with the formats query parameter. Downloads also support demo, a 5.1 MP4 rendition of the Atmos master.
  • Uploads: resumable (tus protocol). For each file, POST to start, HEAD to read the current offset and PATCH to send the next chunk.

Workflow

  1. Read the catalog: query /instruments and /presets to get the IDs you need.
  2. Create the music: POST /musics?formats=atmos,iamf with the name, stereo reference and instrument-to-stems mapping.
  3. Upload the audio: send each stem, the stereo file and any ADM file with the resumable POST / HEAD / PATCH flow.
  4. Track processing: poll /musics/{id}/status until spatialization completes.
  5. Download the master: GET /musics/{id}/download?format=atmos (or iamf or demo).
